I was otherwise engaged when the Worldcon hotel booking forms came out, so by the time I got around to it, all the onsite hotels were full, and we ended up at the Ibis - which is a perfectly reasonable hotel but a tedious comute with two tinies (and means that you need to pack a nappy bag the size of Belgium each morning, with nappies, bottles, food, changes of clothes etc). But a timewasting browse of the Worldcon LJ revealed that there have been cancellations - and I am now the proud owner of the last double/treble room at the Campanile!(until the next cancellation) Yay me! Tough luck Ibis. Anyone else unhappy with their accommodation should check out the website - and keep checking, because impoverished Americans keep cancelling.
