I have been to work! Go me, spirit of the Blitz etc. I was moved to burst into the St Crispin's Day speech on arrival at work....we happy few, we band of siblings.
He arrived with the kids at school to find a terse scrolling notice telling him to go away, so he has not been to work.
The staff of Blacks in Fenchurch St was at work, and he sold me two pairs of waterproof snowman making gloves for the kids. The staff of Tesco's in Eastcheap were mostly not at work, but they have magic automatic machines to sell you things, so I have puff pastry and creme fraiche to turn yesterday's roast into Chicken / Muchroom / Leek pie.
