Amazon sent me an e-mail pimping this, and I thought "Twelve quid, that's a lot" before I realised it wasn't Bagpuss or Clangers or Ivor the Engine but Bagpuss and Clangers and Ivor the Engine. However they have targetted me just that bit too well, and we already have all three....

ETA: oh, and any deluded CSI:Miami viewers may want to see Weebls giving David Caruso the shoeing he so richly deserves - I know, I know, it's too too simple a target, but somehow I always find mockery of David Caruso funny no matter how cheap and obvious.

There is an episode of CSI where Grissom says his "witty" line, the first note of The Who strikes up, but then stops as Grissom gets a phone call moving him onto a B-plot, and he has a nervous few seconds where he has to deal with not having been faded out when he expected.

I know that Grissom does the snappy gags just as often as Horatio does, and probably also does the "I must get the last line in every single bloody scene" thing as well, but somehow it's not nearly as annoying - it could be perhaps that Petersen can act.
