Simple incompetence (and the fact that I was seeing the adverts first thing in the morning, when my mind was unable to make the connection between "good, cheap, local" and "likely to sell out quickly") has led me to miss out on getting tickets for the annual Ben & Jerry's Sundae in the Park thing on Clapham Common. Very very grumpy about this in the way that one gets when one has only oneself to blame for an irretrievable error - but it's a quasi charitable event, so I'm damned if I'm getting tickets on e-bay. If anyone sees any competitions to win tickets then please let me know, but otherwise I'm just going to have to hope they do it again next year, by which time Tiny will be old enough to understand ice cream, so that's an upside.

In other news, no tendril of honeysuckle is safe from the ruthless killer instincts of next door's new kitten.
