Small ran around in circles more than was strictly compatible with best wedding etiquette, but I believe that that is traditional for three year olds at weddings, and she also made an very ill-timed toilet request, but He says that the Scottish official vows are just as dull as the English ones, so I didn't miss much. Their registrar was several steps improved on ours who failed to check beforehand that she knew how to pronounce my name and stumbled disastrously. Cake was extra yummy. Glasgow Grosvenor Hilton is well located but has much more manky rooms than one would expect. Small's first flight went well, but was not as exciting for her as I would have anticipated. We met lots of before our time OUSFG people which was really nice. I guess the only real bad thing that happened was that mr_snips couldn't make it and the main minor irritation was that I couldn't get any good photos because my Olympus is rubbish in the dark and was running out of battery.

My brother and his girlfriend did fine work looking after Tiny back home, despite his mild stomach complaint - their top tip for amateur nappy changers is that Lockets are very good for covering the smell with mentholly goodness (and in extreme cases you can shove one up each nostril).

I thought Small behaved very well and not at all inappropriately. Weddings are often about children indirectly and no one expects a 3 year old to act like an adult.
