Bastard bastard bastard BBC bastards, cocking bloody tennis!

I am, intermittently, a Good Mother. Hence, my darling babies are protected from inappropriately scary films in which people's faces melt and their hands get burnt, although they are allowed to watch Lego renditions of said films.

I looked at the Radio Times, and it said that Raiders of the Lost Ark would be on this evening. Small and Tiny have never seen it, but IMO are now of an age where they can cope with the scary.

Hence A PLAN. The entire day revolves around settling down at 6:30 pm on the sofa to watch Raiders for the first time, hands poised to reassure nervous Tinies. Children are notified, computers are switched off. I have made popcorn.

AND THEN THE SODDING BBC DECIDE TO RANDOMLY SWITCH THE SODDING TENNIS FROM BBC2 TO BBC1 AND CANCEL RAIDERS.

NB that this was not a case of the tennis overrunning - it was always scheduled to be on BBC2 at this time. It was also not a case of two different crucial matches being unexpectedly scheduled against each other and wanting to show both - BBC2 is now showing Top of The Pops instead of the tennis. There is simply no justification for this whatsoever, and I imagine that the people who set their box up to record the tennis on BBC2 are not too chuffed either.

WE ARE NOT HAPPY.
